New Employee Onboarding
Please note:
1. Employee permits are not available online.
2. Based on their position and role within the University, UMBC Parking Services will determine which permit type for which each new hire is eligible.
New Hire – Full Time  

*Part Time or C1 employees are not eligible for a one-week permit or payroll deduction.

New Hire – Part Time or C1
  • A minimum of 3 business days prior to the official start date, Hiring departments or Part-time and Contingent 1 Employees should also submit the standard Permit Info – New Hire Form to parking @umbc.edu
Employee Separation From UMBC:
Please note:
1. Separation is defined as no longer employed at UMBC, on sabbatical or extended leave of absence.
2. A minimum of 10 business days prior to separation, tt is the responsibility of the employee to submit a  Payroll Deduction Cancellation Form
3. Refunds will not be issued for failure to submit the required cancellation documentation.
4Employees with gated parking are required to return their gate card to Parking Services – 900 Walker Avenue. Gate cards can be returned in person or via campus mail. Please remember to include your campus ID number when returning your gate card.
