Contractor Vehicles
Contractors may acquire a service permit by contacting the project manager in Facilities Management. You will be provided with a link to register your vehicle. You must register your vehicle to park on campus. Contractors must park in the designated spaces in Lots 24 & 25. Contractors may park in Service Spaces for up to 2 hours to load and unload tools and equipment. After the two hours, they must move to Lots 24 & 25.
Contractor Construction Vehicles – Fenced-In Compount
Permits are not required for contractor vehicles parked within the fenced compound of a construction site.
Service Vehicles
Contractors may park in Service Spaces for up to 2 hours. Service appointments are visits to repair or provide mainenance to UMBC facilities and equipment. After two hours, service professionals are expected to park in the Contractor Spots located in Lots 24 or 25. Service professionals who need additional time in the service spots should contact Parking Services at parking@umbc.edu. Service permits are restricted to one vehicle per project with additional vehicles assigned to the South Campus Parking Lots (1450 S. Rolling Road).
All posted service parking spaces on campus require a service permit year round.
